Sanding machines are an integral part of equipment that every builder and master use in daily life. Moreover, they are a must for each home because of their priceless functions in case of renovation. Responding to the needs of the construction sector, the company Festool has created Planex easy- a new manual long reach sander, which will be presented at the exhibition Bulgarian Building Week from 15 to 18 March at Inter Expo Center – Sofia.
With their new product Festool expands its range of long reach sanders. Comprising of three sections that can be disassembled, Planex is the standard tool to work on the walls and ceilings. It is designed for users who need more in their daily work. The company has developed Planex easy especially for cases where customers want to work with a machine that is 1.60 m long.
The product bears the name Planex easy, because it is lightweight (4 kg), robust and intuitive to use. “This makes the preparation of walls and ceilings in drywalling applications far easier and faster” comment from Festool. The machine has a direct drive without flexible shaft and brushless EC-TEC motor that requires no maintenance, providing direct transmission of power to the desktop. The machine cannot be disassembled and starts with only one starter key. Planex easy is ergonomic, and through the joint of the head easily pivots in all axes of motion. Another novelty is the new ultra-soft desktop, which adapts to the surfaces of walls and ceilings for an easier impeccable grinding and high surface quality.
AutoClean – complementing Planex easy
Sanding in drywall construction generates large amounts of dust. Which is why Festool offers an addition to Planex easy, and this is AutoClean – a special vacuum cleaner. It has automatic cleaning of the main filter and a special reinforced suction hose.
To achieve precise results the company has also developed optics for the control light STL 450. It helps the luminous cone concentrate so strong that all the bumps on the wall can be seen right at the moment. The height and angle of inclination of the lamp can be adjusted. Its case is reinforced at the edges, there is protection from water splashing and it is well adapted for use on a construction site.
