As a leading platform for demonstration of innovation in the construction industry, the company ISOLINVEST will present at the Architectural-Building Week 2020 their non-bearing lost formwork "Termoblock isolinvest". This will take place in Hall 3, Stand 3D1.
With application in the field of industrial and civil engineering, "Termoblock Isolinvest" is designed for monolithic construction of self-supporting enclosing structures of buildings and facilities. The product is made of factory made insulating thermo-blocks of expanded polystyrene (EPS). They consist of two panels – internal and external, 5 cm thick, with ribbed inner walls, connected permanently with transverse ribs.
The panels and ribs form a free space in the middle with a clear size of 15/15 cm. The reinforcement and the concrete mixture are inserted thereto; in some of these systems, plumbing components and power supply systems are laid. The modules of the non-bearing lost formwork system are, as follows: wall and corner (left and right), end block-wall and a girder.
"By using Termoblock Isolinvest the time for construction in comparison with the traditional masonry with bricks and installation of thermal insulation on walls is reduced", the company claims. This in turn leads to a reduction in labour costs.
Advantages
The main advantage of the non-bearing lost formwork is energy efficiency. It provides optimum temperature in the building both in winter and summer; The penetration of cold and moisture is prevented. All this reduces energy consumption, turning the building into an environment-friendly solution by reducing CO2 emissions.
