The Jubilee 20th edition will be the largest trade show in the sector in the last decade, exceeding 10 000 square meters of area
Four months to go to the beginning of the biggest event for the construction sector in Bulgaria – Architectural Building Week exhibition. The Jubilee 20th edition will open its doors from 25 to 28 February 2020 at Inter Expo Center. The international exhibition will focus on sustainable business, trends in the construction industry, high technologies, new materials and ideas for the future.
"The last edition was deployed on 7500 sq. m exhibition area and attracted the interest of 140 direct exhibitors from Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, England, Poland, China, Romania, Turkey, and Iran", the organizers from Inter Expo Center remind. "The interest, growth in the sector and investments in residential, office and industrial construction and construction of logistics facilities and the possibility of presenting new products to a professional audience require the creation of new themes and an increase in the area up to 10 000 sq. m ", they complement. The statistics since the last edition account for an increased percentage of the visitors of construction company managers, architects and designers, investors and entrepreneurs. The information evidences a strong presence of engineers, distributors, dealers, interior designers and others.
The campaign for the 2020 edition has been underway for months. Yet after the end of the Architectural Building Week 2019 nearly 70% of the companies have confirmed their participation in the 20th edition.
"We believe that the dialogue and close cooperation with the professionals and companies in the industry are the way to the successful exhibition", the organizers commented. Architectural Building Week is realized in the close partnership with the professional organizations – Bulgarian Association for insulation in construction, Bulgarian Chamber of Architects, Bulgarian Chamber of Builders, Chamber of Engineers in the investment Design, Bulgarian Doors, Windows and Facades association, Bulgarian union of Prefabricated houses manufacturers, Professional Landscaping Engineers association, National Association of Construction Entrepreneurs, Bulgarian Council for Sustainable Development and " Vision for Sofia" project.
It is clear that in 2020 the organizers will continue to develop their concept of refining by dividing the participants into sectors – according to their businesses. The Forum enhances its thematic profile by opening a fourth hall for participants in the field of "Building Automation", "HVAC" and "Smart systems". The rest of the topics are "Interior finishing works", "Doors, windows and facades", "Exterior finishing works", "Construction equipment and machinery" ","Certical Planning and Landscaping" and "Industrial construction and equipment ".
Taking into account the specifics of the construction industry, six zones will be separated – "Exterior Finishing Works", "Construction Equipment and Machinery", "Rough Construction", "Interior Materials and Technologies", "Vertical Planning and Landscaping" and "Industrial Construction and Equipment ".
Architectural Building Week 2020 pays special attention to the energy-efficient, environmental-friendly and functional design and construction. This is why the sector dealing with construction insulation plays a key role. Exhibitors will focus on modern construction equipment and design, technologies and tools, finishing works, interior materials and technologies, modern vertical planning and landscaping and industrial construction. "The construction of the future and new technologies will be on the agenda," the organizers share. That is why a special attention will be paid to BIM technologies, software, building automation, smart buildings and construction systems.
The exhibition will also develop its accompanying program. The last edition was the arena of the discussion, organized by the Bulgarian Association for Construction Insulation (BACI) for construction and fire safety. Modern technologies were in the focus of a conference organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Architects (BCA). HTB Conference was also held, i.e. the High technologies and the future of construction forum. A round table, initiated by the BCA and Chamber of Engineers in the Investment Design, brought together representatives of the governmental and branch authorities.
